Kathy Osawa’s History

 

She participated in ” Elvis Image of the King Contest” which held in Memphis in 1997 and won a Special Award. She was also awarded as the best 10 out of 1,000 participants from all around the world.

Kathy’s “My Boy” and “An American Trilogy” received a big standing ovation by a large audience at the contest.

Her greatest achievement at the contest was broadcasted at the “Headline News” on CNN.

 

Kathy released her first tribute album for Elvis Presley, “A Tribute to Elvis ~ I Won’t Be Afraid Anymore~” in 1998. The album was recorded in Nashville, TN and it contains 20 songs of Elvis.

In 1995 and 1997, she performed at Boxcar Willie Theater in Branson, Mo and also theaters in Nashville and Memphis as a guest singer.

She released her second tribute album for Elvis ” A TRIBUTE TO ELVIS vol, 1&2″ in 2002.
